Pointers!

I have been trying to find pointers for my kids to use to play games with or keeping the steady beat with, but I haven't found anything I've liked. So I decided to make my own! I went to Michael's today and bought a bunch of stuff for various crafts. (more posts about that later!) Here is a picture of my finished pointers:

This was very simple! The cut-outs were already painted and were only $.59! I painted sticks that came in a pack for $3 and hot glued them to the end. Why did I pick those cut-outs?! I thought you'd never ask!

Soccer Ball - "Bounce High Bounce Low"
Star - "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star"
Crown - "Queen Queen Caroline"
Umbrella - "Rain Rain Go Away"
Bee - "Bee Bee Bumble Bee"
Train - "Engine Engine Number Nine"

They can use them to keep the steady beat while someone else figures out the rhythm, play a game that keeps the steady beat with the pointers, or help tap the rhythm! Enjoy!
